Lovolution was founded on the heels of our nation's most recent race riots and since then things have only gotten worse. 2023 was one of the worst years for mass killings and a person was shot and killed in a road rage incident every 16 hours in 2022. It's no surprise why 8 out of 10 Americans believe our nation is divided. It is evident that we've been seeing an array of unparalleled societal upheaval: unprecedented division caused by the introduction of a new vaccine, and the continual social, political and racial unrest. Property has been damaged, confidence has been shattered, and most importantly, lives, families and communities have been destroyed. As election results were brought into question and Roe v. Wade was overturned, the very foundation of America was shaken, replacing security with insecurity, trust with fear, and love with hate. When unity is absent we see physical, mental, familial and communal strains that span generations and scars that can take lifetimes to heal.
Although America has not waged war with the advanced weaponry of the military, we have engaged in a war of words and ideas fueled by misinformation and hate. "Hatred is the most expensive thing in the world. It's the source of every war, of every divorce, of racial prejudice, of riots in the street, of antisemitism, of slander." John Hagee. The worst part about hate is that no one is immune from feeling it. While there's no cure for hatred, we can learn ways to deal with hatred by getting to it's roots so it does not grow to hurt and damage others.
In a world lambasted with catastrophic global events, this pandemic of hate has led to verbal and physical violence only adding to the hostile environment in which we now live. These catalysts have caused America to become increasingly antagonistic, which has only led to a siphoning away of our values, morality, and love for one another. The societal breakdown that we have seen in recent years is a self-perpetuating cycle, which can only be resolved if people like us stand in the gap. At the heart of Lovolution, our core mission is to combat the escalation of hate and violence and teach others how to overcome and heal from the plague of bitterness and anger so it does not bleed into other areas of life affecting physical, mental and spiritual health and wound others. We teach individuals how to deal with challenging people, emotions and differing views so they can go out and spread love to the individuals, families and communities in their spheres.
